Natasha Maltseva

Natasha has been dancing since she can remember. Through the years she had been trained in Ballroom, Latin, Argentine Tango, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Belly-dance, Flamenco, Brake dance and Salsa and has performed at numerous festivals and major events like Ohio Star Ball. She has also choreographed stage shows for Children’s Dance Theater, Formation dance teams, competitive couples and wedding couples.

After moving to the United States, competitive Ballroom dancing quickly became Natasha’s passion. After co-founding the Binghamton University Dance Team, and teaching private and group classes at Binghamton University in New York, she went on to achieve competitive success, winning at her level such prestigious competitions as Intercontinental Dance Festival, DC Inferno Championships and Northeast Regional DanceSport Championships, and placing final at USA DanceSport Championships.

In 2003 Natasha discovered Argentine Tango and quickly fell in love. After her last national Ballroom competition, she has devoted herself completely to Argentine Tango. She has trained with top teachers both in the United States and Buenos Aires. Her love for performance was revived through numerous tango performances in Seattle, including every weekend at the Buenos Aires Grill.

Natasha's students often tell her she has "pedagogic talent".

My primary passion in dance is simply the joy and beauty of it, and I truly love to share that with others.  I think dancing is a journey not a destination, so everyone should have an opportunity to learn how to move to music and enjoy that.

Elena Tikhomirova
guest instructor

Elena started dancing at the age of 4 studying Ballet, Ballroom, Latin and West Coast Swing. She has been competitive dancer, performer, choreographer and teacher for over 10 years.
She is very patient and believes that everyone can dance, even if they have "two left feet". She creates the dance program based on student's objectives and abilities and finds it deeply satisfying to share her love of dance and music through her dance classes.

Get fit, find new friends and enjoy a great “sweet home” atmosphere of the private dance studio during your lessons with me.

Dancing could be fun and very rewarding exercise. Let’s dance!
